The creator, organizer, and force of nature behind Festival of Yes, a 3 day campout under the Perseid Meteor Shower near Seattle Washington. A Sip of Stoke is his routine email each full moon that dives deeply into what excites someone to move, vulnerable reflections of a humbled man, and a space for freedom of thought by someone that has done the work internally, externally, and shares the fruit that falls from his tree.
He is lovingly known by many a friend as “The Yes Man” for taking on every challenge, and most every opportunity to grow presented to him. He dives deep into what is possible when you do not turn a blind eye.
The first Festival of Yes, he spent his own money, thousands of dollars, to make the event free so that everyone who came could have a deeply fulfilling and uplifting experience with no stress or requirement other than to be there. This is not some rich person who has excessive wealth and was searching for esteem, or more wealth, but someone that cares deeply about actively building the world around him to be a space he wants to reside and where his friends can thrive. People flew in from all over the country, and some from other countries that do not even go to music festivals just to be there because The Yes Man was putting it on.
