Between2Clouds
is an ever-evolving
collaborative art project
and creative platform
that hosts curated gatherings sometimes
Since August of 2018, this dandy art project has designed and organized over 350 events, bringing together thousands of people. These events have been passion-driven multi-medium, grassroots, and built exclusively by artists. There have been overnight raves in cabins, art galleries in manors, stand-up comedy shows in warehouses, mini-festival weekends in the woods, as well as a variety of other blends of art and moments. Nowadays, we focus mostly on invite-only, intentional, warm, art-fueled experiences.
Between2Clouds began as the artist moniker of 2dreamagain, this project’s curator. Early on after just a few events in our living room, the team that came together to empower these ideas became quite fond of the collaboration ensuing. It became clear that Between2Clouds was always meant to be a shared art project, fueled and inspired by friends and creative collaborators. Ideas of hundreds of folks have been sown together into wonderful experiences for years.
The initial inspiration for bringing our friends together in these ways was to create a space where the outside world’s rules and social pressures ceased to exist for just a moment or 2. Where people could be people again, and feel at ease to be themselves without needing to consider identity or productivity. A place where the complete experience is well intended and considered, the artists were there because they wanted to be, and there was little to no separation between the organizers and the participants.
There is too much that could be shared to catch you up or fill you in. Many lifetimes have been lived while pursuing this project. Between2Clouds has evolved several times, and so have those that have poured themselves extensively into this attempt at shared beauty. When we first began, we had no skillsets, no experience, and no wisdom.
Now, we craft experiential magic for a few moments or more, wherever we happen to be.
In many ways,
we are back at the beginning,
making art with our friends
while exploring the unknown,
not worried about the future,
meeting any outside expectations,
or what will come of our efforts.
