2dreamagain is the artist moniker for Matthew Hahn, the curator and mind behind Between2Clouds.
In the middle of the Sonoran Desert with no buildings in sight, on beaches, at historic hippie music compounds in the woods, in the cabin that Ernest Hemingway used to frequent at Yellowstone National park, at rave warehouses, for ex-celebrities in Salt Lake City, in the middle of the woods running off of generators, on small and mid-sized festivals, on boats, on top of a famous Las Vegas strip club with a magical view of the entire LV strip, at dozens of different venues, for many parties, and with thousands of different people, and these are just the stories based around music.
2’s unique approach to parties, music, and life comes from a life lived off the beaten path, unapologetically experimenting with ideas about how and why we connect as people. Prioritizing intimacy, story, and raw relation both socially and through his projects. With an extreme preference of being in more eclectic and artsy environments both personally and professionally, they do not compromise any aspect of how they operate, sticking truly to what they feel is the richest and most authentic experience they can offer and experience while growing and innovating on their approach constantly.
2dreamagain’s DJ sets pull music from dozens of different cultures around the world, meshing one way of life with another seamlessly to try to bring everyone together for a moment. Specializing in afro-centric rhythms within the house music sphere, the music they share has major influences and story deriving from various Latin/South American, Hindi, Arabic, Asian, and European cultures. 2 also produces their own music, with similar influences and a deep commitment to both story and dance.
