During each full moon,
wherever I am in the world,
I find a place that is deeply beautiful and await a bit of inspiration.
When it comes, I spend however many days over the next month, or what time allows, to create a piece of art that makes that inspiration come to life.
The mediums vary depending on the inspiration and what is available.
The intention is to capture a bit of the real beauty and story from my own life (somewhat as a way to keep up with my friends and those that enjoy my art) while also contributing to the shared beauty of the world around me.
I release these pieces of art for free to all who happen upon this bit of space we share.
This art project’s name is:
A monthly art piece to capture
bits of a beautiful life.

Ahead,
a bit more of my work:
“I often wondered when I would be making art in beautiful places alongside people that love me.
I thought that was where the magic was, where the good life was.
I imagined those were the moments where everything would finally feel right and make sense. Where it all became worth it. Where everything I have been through would become fables I learn from, fully adapted into fiction.
Little did I know, the creations, the destinations, and the attempts at result were only an excuse to share direction and enthusiasm with people I enjoy. It was only ever the catalyst, the carrot at the end of the stick, to belong to something more for just a moment. To find family in a shared story that had no beginning nor end. To drive on roads with much space between stop signs, roll down the windows, and listen to music with friends.
Now I wonder what art I must make to convince these adventurers to explore the unknown with me more, to stumble upon photo booths at coffee shops in small towns, to sit around campfires speaking our traumas into hopeful poetry, and to walk closer to that patient dim light that draws silhouettes in the night.
And whatever art is made, bit of vision is captured, and moments that turn into ever-fading memories - they become lighthouses that show me the way when my own light is fading, unable to guide me in the dark.”
