The idea and origin:

Secret Grove, a deep house lounge by night, and Colombian coffee shop by day in downtown Portland, Oregon, offered to fly me, 2dreamagain, in every couple of months as part of a residency to press buttons, share dance music, and bring beautiful people together.

I enjoy the owners, respect their vision, and feel like it is a great fit between my style and where I would like to place my efforts, as well as what they are working to become.

I have a lot of blooming friendships in Portland with super sweet and
vibrant creatives that were not only supportive, but took initiative to make our collective experience fuller for the first date at Secret Grove (10.19.2024).

A few of these friends threw a pizza party before the event, another friend and I had a blast thrift shopping at a Goodwill to provide an impressive haul of eclectic styles for folks to wear while they danced, a night of deep exploration of music and ideas with another, and other wonderful moments of togetherness came to be.

Experiences like these have always been at the core of my inspiration with Between2Clouds and my life in general,
so for it to happen naturally was truly beautiful and felt worthy of exploring.

Some ideas I have had for awhile that I wanted to involve in our little world of Between2Clouds could come to life over time in this container. This includes volunteer efforts, parts of yoga and other social and universally healthy activities, eclectic and artsy concept experiences, and other experiments of bringing folks together in beautiful ways that bring about a feeling of “us” without any specific ideology. All with the social basis of sweet folks doing sweet stuff together in sweet environments.

A pleasantly purposeful, deeply fun, and healthy collective experience curated by only talented artists and creatives who are all friends that genuinely care for one another.
